Crystal Clear Glass Skin

What is Glass Skin? The term originated in South Korea and describes a clear, dewy complexion. It’s characterized by smooth and hydrated skin that appears poreless and translucent, like glass. There are various ways to achieve glass skin, with most routines recommending layering multiple hydrating products for plump and glowing skin.

Here are 5 steps to achieve the glass skin look:

Step One: Double Cleanse

First, use micellar water or an oil-based cleanser to remove makeup and sunscreen. Then, move on to a gentle face wash to remove impurities without stripping the skin of natural oils.

Suggestion: Clear Acnyl Sulfur Soap

Step Two: Exfoliate

Using an acid-based exfoliant such as alpha and beta hydroxy acids helps sheds dead skin cells and reveals the smooth glow you desire. A physical exfoliant such as a sugar scrub is also a great choice but limit usage to once or twice a week to prevent irritation.

Suggestion: Exfoliating Sugar Scrub

Step Three: Tone

The first leave-on step to hydrate and clarify your complexion. Choose a toner with moisturing properties and avoid highly astringent toners that drys out the skin.

Suggestion: Glycolic & Rice Water Toner

Step Four: Serum

A serum with potent active ingredients can do wonders for your skin barrier and lock the moisture needed for that glass-skin look. Look for ingredients like hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, and peptides in your serums.

Suggestion: Skin Repairing & Clarifying Serum

Step Five: Moisturize and Protect

Arguably the most important step in this routine is to use a hydratng cream that isn’t too heavy to seal in moisture. Choose a non-mattifying sunscreen and dewy makeup to finish.

Suggestion:  Day Radiance Face Cream
